Based on the Mazda3, the 2024 Mazda CX-30 compact crossover inherits much of the Mazda3's impressive road manners and quality cabin finishes. The 2024 model year adds new trims, interior upgrades, and additional exterior colors. Eight trim levels are available for 2024.
Modern Interior, Technology, and Design
The 2024 Mazda CX-30 boasts an interior that would not be out of place in a vehicle from a class above. The CX-30's inviting and elegant cabin design features an infotainment display taking center stage on the dashboard center. A row of climate-control buttons is a feature that divides the upper and lower dash panels.
Every consideration by Mazda's designers, such as the placement of displays, controls and gauges, was made with the driver in mind. The CX-30 offers a spacious cabin with an EPA passenger volume of 94.1 cubic feet.
The modern and inviting cabin offers seating for up to five-passengers and comes equipped with black cloth-trimmed sport seats with adjustable headrests in all seating positions and cloth door inserts on the base trim.

Beautiful Exterior
The 2024 Mazda CX-30 shows off a sweeping S-curve along the sides, creating a sense of movement just as Mazda's designers intended with the KODO design philosophy. The coupe-like shape of the CX-30 shows a matte black grille, which is gloss black on top trims.
The CX-30 measures a compact 173 inches long and 61.7 inches high with a ground clearance of 8 inches.

2024 Mazda CX-30 Cargo Space

Engine, Powertrain, and Performance
The 2024 Mazda CX-30 is available with two engine fitments. First is the base SKYACTIV-G 2.5 liter DOHC 4-cylinder with VVT and cylinder deactivation that produces 191 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 186 pound-feet of torque at 4000 rpm.
The second engine fitment is the SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter dynamic pressure turbo engine, making 227 horsepower at 5000 rpm with a torque rating of 310 pounds per foot when using regular 87-octane fuel. These outputs jump to 250 horsepower at 5000 rpm and torque of 320 pound-feet using 93 octane gasoline.
Both engines come standard with a SKYACTIV-DRIVE 6-speed electronically controlled sport automatic transmission with Mazda's i-ACTIV AWD with Off-road Traction Assist drivetrain and SKYACTIV vehicle dynamics with G-Vectoring control plus to assist drivers on slippery surfaces.
Fuel Economy and MPG
All 2024 Mazda CX-30 trims equipped with the base 2.5-liter engine offer an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 26 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 29 mpg combined. CX-30 trims fitted with the turbocharged engine offer an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 22 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined.
Infotainment and Connectivity
All trims come with a Mazda Connect Infotainment system with a standard 8.8-inch large center digital screen display equipped with Mazda Commander Control.

- Folding power side mirrors with integrated turn signals, memory positioning and tilt-in-reverse function finished in body color.
- Power sliding-glass moonroof with a one-touch-open feature and interior sunshade
Cabin upgrades include an eight-way driver's seat with power lumbar support, 2-position memory, heated front seats, and a choice of black or gray leatherette upholstery.
2.5 S Carbon Edition
Available only in Polymetal Gray Metallic, the 2024 Mazda CX-30 Carbon Edition starts at $29,790 and offers exclusive red leather seat trim, an eight-speaker audio system with Mazda Harmonic Acoustics, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and a wireless phone charger. The exterior side mirrors are finished in black.
2.5 S Premium
The 2.5 S Premium starts at $32,790 and features Mazda navigation, a Bose 12-speaker premium audio system with Centerpoint and AudioPilot, and a windshield-projected full-color active driving display. A leather-wrapped gear selector and steering wheel with mounted paddle shifters are standard fitments as well. Buyers can choose between black or white leather upholstery.
On the outside, the 2.5 S Premium is upgraded to signature LED headlights with an adaptive front-lighting system and signature LED combination tail lights. A roof-mounted "shark fin" antenna and rear power liftgate are equipped as well.
2.5 Carbon Turbo
The 2024 Mazda CX-30 Carbon Turbo, starting at $32,790, comes with the more powerful turbocharged 2.5-liter engine and receives a larger 10.25-inch center display with the same interior and exterior features as the Carbon Edition.
The Carbon Turbo interior is trimmed in Terracotta Leatherette, and the exterior is finished in exclusive Zircon Sand Metallic paint.
2.5 Turbo Premium
For a starting $34,490 MSRP, buyers of the 2.5 Turbo Premium get all of the 2.5 S Premium's interior and exterior finishes, safety and driver assistance features, as well as a windshield wiper de-icer, and side mirrors finished in black.
The interior sees the fitment of a heated steering wheel and frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror.
2.5 Turbo Premium Plus
The range-topping 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus, starting at $36,800 MSRP, adds to the Turbo Premium trims an auto-dimming driver's exterior side mirror and further driver assistance aids including a 360° view monitor, cruising and traffic support, rear smart brake support and rear crossing smart brake support.
